Hey there, lovely!

Have you ever wondered about having something custom-made? Does it ring alarm bells of high price tags? Prices are something that everyone is scared to ask about but I wanted to put your mind at rest. Bespoke doesn’t have to mean broke! In fact it may actually save you some money.

But how?

Ok, let me explain :)

So, bespoke basically means custom-made. It’s just a fancy pants term that gets thrown around a lot to mean that something is designed to meet a certain set of specifications, in this case, yours.

If you have something made around your ideas, you will get exactly what you want. This means no searching more than you need to, your choice of details and something that fits you, and only you, perfectly. It could be your dress, shoes, underwear or accessories…but knowing that it is one-of-a-kind and built from your ideas gives it more meaning.

When it comes to cost, I’d recommend thinking in terms of value. If you switch your thinking from “Why does it cost so much?” to “Why is it worth so much?”, you’ll start to see things differently. Bespoke orders typically take longer to make and there is pressure on the maker to deliver a design that you love through redraughts and tweaks before they even start creating. Sourcing the materials you want to include and making sure that it fits perfectly where you need it to can be challenging too, but it’s an enjoyable part of the journey.

In fact, you may find that when you take your time in to consideration and any alterations you might need to add on, you actually save yourself money. By having something custom-made, you know that it will fit and flatter you as it’s been made with you in mind.

I personally love the detail that goes in to bespoke pieces. It’s not formed just from the words that my brides say to me, but the way they say things; the way their faces light up when they talk about a specific memory or the way they interact with their partner.

And I’d love to help as many people as possible to capture all of those things.

If you’d like some advice about your accessories, why not schedule a call with me to talk through your ideas? It’s free and there’s absolutely no obligation to work with me - I just want to help as many brides as I can :)
