In need of a little inspiration right now?

If you’ve decided to postpone your wedding to another season you may be feeling like you’ve gone back to the drawing (Pinterest) board.

Never fear! I’m going to be sharing some pretty wedding ideas with you over the next few months, which will give you some ideas and connect you with some lovely suppliers.

Today’s dose of pretty is a rustic, boho barn wedding, perfect for summer into autumn and featuring rich golds and creams with accents of soft pink and purple.

The location was Upcote Barn in the Cotswolds and it is absolutely beautiful - definitely add it to your wish list if a barn wedding is your kind of thing!

Would you believe that the two dresses above are the same? Boho Bride Boutique shows us how to switch up a simple, elegant, flowy dress with a lace bolero - perfect if you’re dreaming of having two dresses but only have the budget for one!

For the hair, Viki from Viks Hairdressing created a relaxed, undone bun and adorned it with my Rosie vine. Copper is such a beautiful choice for most hair colours and it pairs really well with soft pinks, greens and peachy colours. We also styled our gorgeous model with a coordinating necklace, which could be worn as a hair vine or bridal belt too (you know how much I love a versatile accessory!).

The flowers were full of texture and I personally loved the accents of soft pink roses, pops of purple and bright yellow. The florals were supplied by Haze Lea Designs and Ivy Dene Flower Farm.

Soft draping fabrics on the chairs give a luxe feel to this relaxed country wedding and are a great way to add a little colour to your ceremony seating.

The flowers continued to the cake by Donna Louise Cake Design and I just love the yellow flowers that decorated the table setting! The colours capture those hazy late summer days perfectly, don’t they?

With huge thanks to Rob Tarren for the beautiful images and Annabelle from Bella Peach Creative for coordinating everything.
